Introduction to Daoist Yoga
This 100-hour introduction gives students a solid grounding in the mechanics of Chinese healing movement systems. Participants learn the physical and energetic language behind the traditions of qigong, taiji (tai chi), and gongfu (kung fu).
Curriculum Includes
- Opening and mobilizing the joints
- Common stances and postures — usage and adaptation
- Animal-themed movement sequences
- Supporting meditative practices
- Introduction to the energetic vocabulary of qigong, taiji, and gongfu
